What we collect, why, and how to delete all of it in one click.

Honest summary

Using Valyve needs no account and no email. Saved items, comparisons, looks and history live in your own browser — not on a server of ours. You can delete everything at any time on the profile page.

Data that stays on your device

This data is never sent to us. Clearing site data in your browser deletes it permanently.

  • Saved items, products in comparison and saved looks.
  • History of viewed products and most-visited categories (only with personalisation consent).
  • Language, country and currency preferences.

Data we collect on the server

With your measurement consent, we record aggregate events: which pages were viewed, which products were clicked, where the visit came from (for example Instagram or Google search), device type and the country reported by the network. We don't store full IP addresses and we don't build individual profiles.

Without that consent, no measurement event is sent.

Clicks to partner stores

When you click “View offer”, we log that click (product, store, source, device) and add a technical identifier to the link so the affiliate network can attribute the commission to us. That identifier contains no personal data about you.

From the moment you land on the store's site, that store's privacy policy applies, and we have no control over it.

Legal basis

Essential cookies: legitimate interest in operating the site. Measurement and personalisation: your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — which you can withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Since we hold no account tied to you, the fastest way to exercise erasure is the “Delete all my data” button on the profile page. For the other rights, write to us.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Retention

Aggregate measurement events are kept for a maximum of 14 months. Data on your device stays until you delete it.
